LevelUp Kids helps families manage daily tasks, stars, rewards, and household progress. This page explains what information the app uses and how that information supports the product.
Information We Use
Depending on how you use the app, LevelUp Kids may use the following information:
- Sign in with Apple account identifier and, if you choose to share them, your name and email address.
- Household data you create in the app, including child profiles, tasks, rewards, progress, and invite status.
- Photos you choose for child avatars.
- Contact details you choose from your address book to help prepare an invite destination.
- Push notification device tokens needed to deliver household notifications.
- Technical data needed for iCloud sync, invite links, and app security features.
How We Use Information
- To sign you in and associate household data with the correct account.
- To sync your household across devices using Apple services such as iCloud and CloudKit.
- To support invite links and independent child-device setup.
- To send household notifications you request, such as chore or task updates.
- To let parents secure parent-only sections with Face ID, Touch ID, or a PIN.
How Information Is Shared
LevelUp Kids does not sell personal information. Information is shared only as needed to operate the app, including with Apple services used for sign-in and iCloud sync, and with LevelUp Kids infrastructure used to register devices for notifications.
Photos, Contacts, and Notifications
The app asks for photo, camera, contacts, and notification permissions only when those features are used. You can deny or revoke permissions at any time in your device settings.
Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete your account from within the app. Account deletion removes app-managed household data for the current account and clears local app data from the device, subject to normal platform backup and storage behavior.
Children's Privacy
LevelUp Kids is intended for family use with parent setup and household management controls. Parents are responsible for household configuration, invites, and device access decisions.
